Rublevska imposed the pace at the start of modern pentathlon

The women's modern pentathlon fencing test was won by the Latvian Elena Rublevska at the Copper Box this morning.

She has accumulated 25 victories, earning 1,000 points, the Hungarian Adrienn Tóth is a victory behind it.

The more pleased with its results is no doubt despite all the number one world Lithuanian, Laura Asadauskaite, which often lifted a large number of places during the combined shooting and final race.

It is needed perhaps not this time because it came third with 23 WINS fencing.

The next step is the 200 m freestyle swimming. The pentathletes will then travel to Greenwich Park for the show jumping and combined test.
