Walcott out winner of a pulsating Javelin throw final

Keshom Walcott from Trinidad and Tobago pinned gold after a exciting final of men's Javelin throw at the Olympic Stadium.

19 Year won the title by seven centimetres more than Oleksandr Pyatnytsya who had to settle for silver.

The second jet to 84,58 m of Walscott proved enough for victory since Pyatnytsya had reached only 84,51 in its third jet.

Finnish Antti Ruuskanen won bronze in reaching 84,12 m on his fifth throw.
